Michael Hale

Michael L. Hale passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 9, 2014. The family invites you to join with them for an informal memorial gathering to celebrate the life of their loved one on Friday, September 12, 2014, between 3 o'clock until 5 o'clock at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy., Charleston, SC 29407. Michael L. Hale was born October 3, 1955 in Greenville, SC, son of the late Belverly and Bernice Ashmore Hale; survived by brother Christopher L. Hale of Ohio, sister Sally A. Hayes of Kentucky, aunt Mary Ashmore Odom of West Ashley, cousin Larry Odom of West Ashley, four nieces, six nephews and numerous grandnieces and nephews. A graduate of Wando High School, he then went on to pursue a career in the photography lab industry. He was a contributor to ADOBE Photoshop and led an international photo scripting forum. His passion in life was restoring old damaged photos and spoiling his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews. Michael L. Hale was a kind, compassionate, caring gentleman who is admired and respected by many and will be greatly missed by all.
