Maureen Mccormack Schrader

March 30, 1954 — June 9, 2017

Maureen McCormack Schrader (Moe Moe) lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 63. She passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family. Moe Moe is survived by her husband, three children and two grandchildren; Dave Schrader / Alicia Hart (Tommy) and their son Sam / Carl Woods Jr. and his son Ian / Robert “Jake” Bright Jr. Moe Moe is also survived by her three sisters and two brothers; Al McCormack Jr., Peggy Dillard, Eddie McCormack, Karen Rourk and Pat McCormack – and their families.Moe Moe was born to Albert “Mac” and Mary McCormack in 1954 while living in the West Ashley area of Charleston. She loved the area so much she raised her beautiful family in West Ashley and she rarely ventured out of the area until her work with ASWA/Auto Supply (now NAPA) got her to drive to the other side of the planet – Jedburg. She graduated from St. Andrews High School in 1972 and married Sam Woods in 1975. Moe Moe married Dave in 1995 and enjoyed 22 years together until her passing.The relatives and friends of David and Maureen Schrader are invited to attend her Visitation between 6:00 and 8:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2017, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM. Neither flowers nor donations are necessary – just happy and loving memories.
