Matthew Joseph Griesheimer

Matthew Joseph Griesheimer was welcomed into heaven, surrounded by his friends and family on Monday, August 5, 2024.

Matt was born March 15, 1975 in Toledo, Ohio to Joseph and Cynthia Griesheimer. He will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for his work and willingness to help a friend in need.

Matt is survived by his wife, Stacy (Neville) and son Noah; his sister, Jodi McClain (Bob); nieces Alexis and Haley, and nephew Lane.

Matt made his talent of tinkering into a successful career as a master technician at Hendrick Automotive (BMW) in Charleston for 27 years. He enjoyed snow skiing, fishing, and boating with his family. He enjoyed skateboarding and building Lego sets with Noah. Matt worked hard and enjoyed downtime watching movies with his family and hanging out with friends.

Preceding him in death, were each of his parents, and Jimmy Dean (Pop).

He will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.

The family will welcome visitors at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at James A. McAllister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29407. His Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM.
