Matthew Scott Demeuse

Matthew Scott DeMeuse, 49, of Charleston passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. Scott was born April 3, 1963 in Albany, GA, the son of the late Francis "Frank" Alvin DeMeuse, and Josie Crosby DeMeuse. He graduated from R.B. Stall High School, where he began his passion for music as a drum major. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Math. Scott was a computer systems analyst. Scott is survived by his mother, Josie, one sister: Patricia D. (Gary) Diamond of Charleston; two brothers: Frank H. DeMeuse of Charleston, and Patrick C. DeMeuse of Ohio; brother-in-law, Fred Harley and one niece, Kellie Harley, and three nephews, Carl Harley, Jason "Colby" Freeman, Colin Freeman. Scott was predeceased by his father, Frank; sister, Harriett D. Harley. The relatives and friends of Matthew Scott DeMeuse are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the Rosary at 11:00AM at James A. McAlister Funeral Home. Final Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O.
