Mary L. Roberts

Mary Beth Leasure Bridges Roberts, 62, of Charleston, passed away at home on Monday August 7, 2017.   The relatives and friends of Mary L. Roberts are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   Mary was born in Charleston on May 29, 1955, a daughter of the late John H. Leasure and Betty Barrow Leasure. She graduated from Chicora High School and the Medical University of South Carolina School of Allied Health Sciences. Mary worked her entire career at MUSC Pathology and Lab departments until she retired. Being retired gave Mary time to spend doing the things she loved the most: taking care of  her grandson Draven, (the love of her life); collecting and studying gemstones; and watching Johnny Depp movies. Mary is survived by her son, Brandon Bridges (Kari); her grandson, Draven; her  sister, Pamela L Popik; and her sister-in-law, Jill Leasure.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, John H.
