Mary Rebecca "Becky" Moran,Loving Wife, Mother, friend, and inspiration to so many, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, after a courageous 7-year battle with colon cancer. Becky was born in Columbia, daughter of the late Joseph B. Beckham and Mary Wilson Beckham. She was a graduate of Dreher High School and attended the College of Charleston. Becky is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Dennis Michael Moran, daughters: Emmie Williams (Charley), Abbey Cooper (Wade); beloved nephew, Jody Beckham (Jenni) , Cody and Carolina, dear friend Harry Murray and brother Haynie Joseph Beckham, four grandchildren: Savannah, Gracie, Charlie and Dennis Cooper; Beloved daughter-in-law to Matthew Moran, Sister-in-law to Teresa Atwood, Karen Kimbrell (Tony), Matt Moran (Kristie) and an Aunt to ten nieces and nephews. She loved holidays, music theater, art, gardening, being in the boat and she absolutely loved to dance. Becky was the Sunshine on a rainy day and she was always the first in line to hold a friend or even a perfect stranger. Becky's amazing resilience enabled her to bring hope and laughter to any situation. She was always a giver and proved that way up to the final days of her life by giving her family, friends, hospital staff, and others the greatest gift of all by allowing us to witness a true miracle on the day she held her brand new grand "Sweetpea" baby Dennis Wade Cooper.
