Mary Deantonio Mennona

Mary Celeste DeAntonio Mennona, 70, of James Island, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Mary D. Mennona are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 31, 2021, at the graveside, St. Lawrence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the James A. Mary was born October 31, 1951, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Lawrence L. DeAntonio and Julia Buero DeAntonio. She enjoyed baking, crafting, gardening, knitting, sewing and spending time with everyone.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children:  Mark Mennona (Renee), Shannon Weeks (Kevin), Teresa Mennona, Christopher Mennona (Erica) and Joshua Mennona; Granny to Celeste, Sladen, Phillip, Jodi, Jackson and Mason; Great Grandmother to Ava; Aunt to V. Cecilia DeAntonio and Philip DeAntonio; sister-in-law to Charlotte Mennona Fennell and the extended family as well as a host of long-time friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence F. DeAntonio.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Mary will be joining her husband, Ralph Mennona in eternal rest.
