Mary Hay Jenkins

Mary Hay Jenkins, 89, of Johns Island, SC, widow of, Daniel LaRoche Jenkins, Jr., entered into eternal rest August 30, 2016. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. John's Parish Church, Johns Island. The family will receive friends following the service at, 3441 Hickory Hill Rd. Mary was born November 15, 1926 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Eugene Gordon Hay and Sarah Motte Legare Clement Hay. She is survived by three sons: Daniel Legare Jenkins of Charleston, SC, Gordon Hay Jenkins and his wife Janet Greer and Robert Clement Jenkins and his wife Ruby A. of Johns Island, SC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and her two dogs, Raggs and Maebelle. She is also survived by her two younger sisters: Anne Hay Thomas and Lydia Hay Pedersen. Memorials may be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Rd., N. Charleston, SC 29406.
