Mrs. Marion Occhipinti, 101, widow of Ernest P. Occhipinti passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016.Marion was born April 23, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena Pinto Fino. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Marion Occhipinti are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, this Friday evening, January 8, 2016, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. She is survived by her daughters Rose Foscolos Paglia of Charleston and Faye Tuck of Ellijay, GA her son and daughter in-law, Michael and Linda Occhipinti of Raleigh, NC, her sister, Anna Colarusso of Brooklyn, NY, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, thirteen great- great grandchildren and 1 great- great- great grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter, Teresa Mora.
