Marilyn Manning Williams, 84, of Charleston, SC, widow of Milton Adam Williams, entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2024.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Inurnment will follow at Saint Joseph Columbarium, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Boulevard, Charleston.
Marilyn was born December 8, 1940, in Baldwin, FL. She was a daughter of Lois Troxell and Phillip H. Manning. She was a graduate of Saxon High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1958. She then went on to work for Prudential before moving to Charleston with her husband.
Marilyn and Milton were married 56 years before his passing in 2018. She and her husband were members of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, where they both volunteered very often. Marilyn always baked for the church and was a Eucharistic Minister.
She is survived by her two children, Robert M. Williams (Charlene) and Tara W. Gerardi (Jeffrey), both of Charleston, SC; her brother, Larry Manning of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Dora Mitchell of Live Oak, FL and her sweet cat, Louie.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver, Erica Porter.
