Mack Dale Swafford

Mack Dale Swafford, 80, went home to be with Jesus December 2, 2020.

His Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at St. James Church, 1872 Camp Rd.  The burial will follow in the churchyard.

Mack was born January 7, 1940, in Villa Rica, Georgia, to the late Irene and Elderader Swafford.  He was a graduate of the Univerity of Georgia and an avid Bulldog fan.  He worked as a chemist at Lockheed and General Engineering Labs.  Music was always an important part of Mack's life.  He played the piano and sang in the choir at St. James Church. He was also a member of the Friday Morning Men's Group.

Mack is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maxine; son, Mike (Lahna); daughter, Pam (Al); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in his name to the Music Ministry at St. James Church, 1872 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
