Louise McCulloch Nelson Ebner Kingsbury, 86, of Hollywood, SC went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening, July 23, 2012. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends while at Ashley River Plantation where she was a much loved resident. Louise was born in Charleston, SC on August 14, 1925, a daughter of the late Russell and Margaret Fleming McCulloch. She graduated from Bishop England High School and was the owner and operator of Clementia Antiques located in Hollywood, SC. Louise was a grand lady who always had an infectious smile and caring heart for those she loved and met. Friends and family anxiously awaited the arrival of her hand written cards and notes on all special occasion. She believed in living her life with independence and perseverance. She was widow of David O. Ebner and they shared a love of antiquing and fishing. She is also the widow of Webb Kingsbury with whom she traveled the world to many special ports on the United Fruits Brand banana boat, such as Ecuador, Italy, and Ireland. Louise is survived by her children, JoAnn N. Garvin (John), John J. Nelson, Jr. (Deborah), Christine N. Pedersen, David O. Ebner, Jr. (Michelle), and Randall J. Ebner; her 8 grandchildren, Terri G. Shaw (Benny), Andrea G. Frame (Darrell), James F. Pedersen III, (Gayle), Helen P. Jones (Casey), Charles B. Nelson (Stacey), Brian L. Nelson (Trish), Dewey L. Kirkland, Jr. and PFC Andrew A. Kirkland. She was a doting "Grandma" to her 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving and devoted older sister, Helen M. Heape and was predeceased by her sister, Margaret M. Joye and her brother, Christopher R. McCulloch. The relatives and friends of Louise McCulloch Nelson Ebner Kingsbury are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 27, 2012, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will follow at Old St. Andrews Parish Churchyard, 2604 Ashley River Rd. The family will receive friends this Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
