Louise Brookbanks Bussey

Lillian Louise Brookbanks Bussey of Johns Island,SC passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019.

Louise was born January 21, 1939 in Charleston, SC and in 1959 married Evan Bussey, Jr. Together Weeze and Buzz created an inclusive and loving environment for all whose lives they touched. Louise was an avid rose gardener and at one time had over 100 rose bushes. She adored sharing roses with family and friends. Louise also loved and raised Geman Shepherds, several of whom went on into service with Charleston county and city police officers.

Louise is preceeded in death by her husband, Evan Z Bussey, Jr.;,her son, Thomas Evan Bussey; her parents, Tommy and Viola Brookbanks and her sister, Anne Brookbanks Hill.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda B. McDonald and Sandra Bussey-Turner both of Charleston. Her Grandchildren, Thomas Evan Bussey, Jr. and Kathryn Lee Butt of Johns Island; and her niece, Julie D.Hill.

A private service will be held at the farm at a later date.
