Louis Pierre Shaw

Louis Pierre Shaw, 79, of Johns Island, husband of Margaret Louise Lyerly Shaw, died December 21, 2018. The relatives and friends of Louis Pierre Shaw are invited to attend his Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at St. Michael's Church, Broad Street, Charleston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church's Kinloch Room.

He was born August 15, 1939 in Georgetown, SC, son of the late Joseph Shaw and Frances Perry Shaw. He was a graduate of Palmer College, served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1961, and was the former owner of Lyerly’s Cleaners. He was an avid golfer, animal lover, and skilled practitioner of multiple styles of karate and a ninth-degree black belt.

Louis is survived by his wife, Margaret Louise Lyerly Shaw; two daughters, Kelly Gervais Shaw (husband Kenneth) and Kristen Ryan Shaw; granddaughters, Anna Gervais Henderson (husband Russell) and Emma Caroline Gervais; and brothers, Joseph Bradley Shaw and Robert Eugene Shaw.
