Louelle Moore Bolchoz, 85, widow of Theodore R. Bolchoz III entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Hospice of Charleston surrounded by her loving family. The relatives and friends of Louelle Moore Bolchoz are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at Riverview Memorial Park on Azalea Drive in N. Charleston. The family will receive friends Monday evening between 5:00 & 7:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The Rosary will be recited at 5:15 PM. Online condolences may be offered at www.JamesAMcAlister.com. Louelle was born on June 18, 1929 in Norfolk, VA, daughter of the late John Pease Moore and Louelle Burton Moore. She was a graduate of North Charleston High School and attended Rice Business College. She worked at C & S Bank before getting married. She was also an Avon lady for many years but considered her main job to be a loving wife to Ted and a caring mother to their five children. She loved to cook and bake for her family. Louelle was a long time member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she was active in the Eucharistic Perpetual Adoration Society. After Ted retired, the couple enjoyed taking trips together. Louelle also enjoyed bowling and walking in the mall. Her later years were spent at Ashley Park Retirement Community where she loved to play Candy Bar Bingo, Bean Bag Baseball and other activities with her many friends. Survivors include 2 daughters, Gail B. McQueeney and JoAnne B. Farris (Mark) both of Charleston and one son, Victor R. Bolchoz (Rita) of Oregon, three sisters, Marcia M. Nolte of Mt. Pleasant, Mary M. Smith (Tom) of Summerville, and June M. Milligan of Texas, three sisters-in-law, Dolores B. Kennerty, Rosie B. Derrick, and Ronnie B. Daniels (Alvin), nine grandchildren, Billy McQueeney (Jenn), Joey McQueeney, Katie M. Altman (Chris), Christy B. Carrick, Brice Bolchoz , Nicolas Bolchoz, Lindsay Farris, Caroline Farris and Martha Farris, and seven great grandchildren, Brock, Dakota, Lily, Will, Cullen, Macen, Blake, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Barry Bolchoz and Stevie Bolchoz, one sister, Elizabeth M. Pate of Charleston and three brothers, John P. Moore, Jr., James E. Moore and David B. Moore. Her family would like to thank the amazing ECT staff at MUSC, Dr. Jessica Broadway, Dr. Austin Ball, and Hospice of Charleston for the excellent care given to their mother. They would also like to thank her wonderful caregiver and friend, Barbara Pinto, for her many years of care and companionship.
