Lois Sherrod Leamond

Lois Sherrod LeaMond, loving Mother and Grandmother, entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2016. The relatives and friends of Lois S. LeaMond are invited to attend her Memorial Service 5:00 PM Monday, August 15, 2016, from the chapel of the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Lois was born in Pecos, Texas May 28, 1932, daughter of William L. Sherrod and Lois T. Sherrod. She graduated from Rivers High School and attended the College of Charleston. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Harold J. LeaMond. She was a homemaker, small business owner, and hospital volunteer at East Cooper Hospital for many years. Lois is survived by her children Harold Jr. (Debbie), William T. (Roxanne), Patrick J. (Betsy) and Kelly L. Cannady (Ralph) and by her grandchildren Laura (Kevin), Bill, Julian, Sullivan, Michael, Kathryn and Christopher. She is also survived by her sister Mary Anne Marshall Sexton, brother Mike G. Norton, sister-in-law Kit Dunlap, and numerous nephews and nieces. Memorial donations may be made in Lois’ memory to MUSC Children's Hospital Fund, 59 Bee Street MSC 201, Charleston, SC 29425.
