June 18, 1928 — December 28, 2017

Lois E. Davis, 89, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 28, 2017. The relatives and friends of Lois E. Davis are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1601 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private.
Lois was born June 18, 1928 in Cedar Key, Florida, a daughter of the late Myrtie Eugene and Frank Ingram. She graduated high school in Cedar Key, and retired after many years working as a cashier at Drayton Hall Middle School. Lois was a loving and humble person who enjoyed anything on the water, including boating, fishing, crabbing, and shrimping. She also enjoyed yard work, sewing, and watching football. A charitable woman, Lois loved her church, where she was active in many programs. She especially loved her family, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Sandra Murrow (Bill), her son Jim Davis; 3 Grandchildren: Allen Tanner, Jason Davis (Gregg), Justin Davis; and 2 Great-grandchildren: James Davis, Reid Davis.
Memorials may be made in Lois' honor to Grace United Methodist Church Building Fund (please mark gifts 'Code 11 HVAC').
