Lillian Jesse Millings

Lillian Jesse Musgrove Millings, 101, widow of Victor Edward Millings, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 29, 2013. Lillian was born on January 29, 1912 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Edward M. Musgrove, Sr. and Lillian Jesse Horres Musgrove. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bridge and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Lillian is survived by her two sons, Victor E. Millings, Jr. (Mary) and Ronald A. Millings (Dolores); brother, John F. Musgrove; five grandchildren, Ted (Maggie), Elizabeth (Brandon), Jeff, Tim (Jill) and Greg (Kana); four great-grandchildren, Erin, Lindsay, Bailey and Nate. The relatives and friends of Lillian M. Millings are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Building Fund, 5 St. Teresa Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
