Lesley Ann Schoepf Cabell, died on October 10, 2009. She was born September 4, 1956 in Concord, Massachusetts to the late John Graves Schoepf and the late Joyce LeJune Schoepf and spent the majority of her childhood in Greenville, South Carolina. She was the wife for thirty years of Nathaniel Wilson Cabell, Jr. of James Island, SC and mother of two sons, Nathaniel Wilson (WiIl) Cabell, III and John Graves (Jack) Cabell. An equestrian at heart, Lesley spent most of her youth as an active member of the United States Pony Club, one of the world's leading junior equestrian organizations. She was graduated from Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville and received an ABA degree from the University of South Carolina. Lesley began her shipping career with Harper Robinson Co. She then worked with Dickinson, Mikell and Comar and went on to become the founder and president of Cabell Exports, Inc., an overseas foreign freight forwarder. She also enjoyed working part time with Garfield's Jewelers in South Windermere, Charleston.She was a past member of the Junior League of Charleston, The Carolina Assembly and the James Island Yacht Club, where she served on the board of the Woman's Auxiliary. Lesley was a devoted mother who volunteered many hours to the various schools her sons attended and the activities they participated in. She was a member of the Nativity Catholic Church. Lesley is also survived by two sisters, Janice Schoepf Bennett of Georgetown, SC, and Carolyn Margaret Schoepf-Harrison of Spartanburg, SC, seven nieces, two nephews, one great niece, two great nephews, and three beloved cats, "Chan," "Mo," and "Sailor". The family extends sincere appreciation to her caregiver, Margaret Simmons, as well as to all of her friends for their love, support and prayers. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel W. Cabell, Jr. are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Nativity Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the James A.
