Lawrence Michael Call, 67, resident of Seabrook Island and husband of Patricia E. Call, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Call are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 22, 2009 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in the Holy Spirit Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Girls Hope, 1020 State St. Baden, PA 15005. or to Roper St. Francis Foundation, Cancer Center, 125 Doughty St., Suite 790, Charleston, SC 29403 Mr. Call was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 27, 1942, the son of the late Cornelius Call and Emma Kling. He was a graduate of Loyola University and Treasurer of PPG Industries in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Call retired as Senior Vice President and CFO of Amway Corp. He was an active volunteer for Girls Hope, serving on the board of directors in Pittsburgh, PA, and was honored with a listing in Who's Who. Mr. Call is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia E. Call, his step-mother, Marion Call of Clearwater, FL, his children, Lawrence, Jr.(Janet) of Middletown, MD, Terrence, (Sarah) of Cody, WY, Elizabeth Giuliani (Anthony) of Charleston, SC, and Alexander of Miami, FL as well as his grandchildren, Jonathan, Schuyler, Natalie, Logan, Marisa and Clara.
