Laurentia Wurthmann

Laurentia Wurthmann, 94, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on the evening of March 7, 2019.

The relatives and friends of Ms. Laurentia Wurthmann are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Wallenberg Blvd.  The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Laurentia was born November 14, 1924, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Bernard Conley Wurthmann, Sr. and Irene Julia Leopold Wurthmann.  She was a Founding Member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is predeceased by her siblings: Bernard Conley Wurthmann, Jr., Leroy Joseph Wurthmann, Thelma Joseph Wurthmann Arnold, Barbara Ann Wurthmann McElrath and Winifred Ann Waddell; and two nephews, John Waters, Sr. and Albert Waters.

Laurentia is survived by her two nephews, as well as many great-nephews and great-nieces.
