Laura Snowden Walker

Laura Snowden Walker, 61, of John's Island, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Hospice Center. She was born in Charleston, the daughter of James Gaillard Snowden II and Virginia Ann Hutchings Snowden, on Sunday, June 6, 1948. Ms. Walker attended Ashley Hall School and graduated from the High School of Charleston. She also attended the College of Charleston. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Junior League of Charleston and of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was employed for over 20 years at the Medical University of South Carolina, in the Department of Surgery. Ms. Walker is survived by her two sons, Patrick Hallman Morgan, Jr., James Snowden Morgan and his wife Katherine Elizabeth Morgan; three brothers, James Gaillard Snowden III, Thomas Lea Hutchings Snowden, Christopher Bourne Snowden and the father of her sons, Patrick Hallman Morgan, Sr. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews. The relatives and friends of Laura S. Walker are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service at Magnolia Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2010.
