Kristopher Jay Adams

Kristopher Jay Adams, 48, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Kris was born May 9, 1974, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was the youngest son of John Alvis Adams and Elaine Robertson Lunsford. Kris was a specialist in the automotive paint and body business for over 25 years. Kris lived life to the fullest. His hobbies included skydiving, tinkering on his vehicles, as well as restoring vintage cars. He even built his own rat-rod from the frame up.

Kris is survived by his daughter, Natallie M. Adams (Steven Mason); granddaughter, Karmin Louise Mason; father, John A. Adams; stepmother, Ann K. Adams; brother and best friend, John Korey Adams (Tracy); nephews, Brandon Adams (Madisyn), Cody Smith (Mary), Zach Smith (Lydia); niece, Taylor Adams; maternal grandmother, Ethelene Robertson Hallman; one uncle, three aunts and 14 beloved cousins.  He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Michelle Adams. Kris was predeceased by his mother, Elaine Robertson Lunsford.

Kris will be laid to rest with his mother at Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery in Westover, Alabama at a later date.
