CHARLESTON, SC - Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, Mr. Kenneth Young, husband of Maria H. Young. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, January 29, 1926, a son of George Douglas and Elizabeth McCubbin Young. Mr. Young honorably served our country in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and the U.S. Air Force in Korea. Following a long career in law enforcement, he retired from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office where he worked as a Detective. Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Maria Helen Young of Charleston.
