Kenneth Martin "Marty" Boissoneault, 56, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Medical University of South Carolina. The relatives and friends of Mr. Kenneth Martin Boissoneault are invited to A Gathering of Friends at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at the Palmer House, 5 East Battery, Charleston. Marty was born March 2, 1959 at Winter Park, Fl., the son of Kenneth Benoit and Dorothy Jeanette Martin Boissoneault. He attended St. Andrews and Sewanee School in Tennessee and The College of Charleston. He also attended University of South Carolina. As a boy Marty loved riding motorcycles, water skiing, camping and taking care of animals. As an adult he enjoyed cooking, especially Southern cuisine. He enjoyed hosting dinner parties. Marty loved Charleston, its history, and discovering historical artifacts. Fishing and boating were his passion and he had a special love for his pets and he treated them as his children. Marty loved his home life where his Beloved girlfriend, Debbie, and his loyal Golden Lab, Salliemaude, spent many happy days. He enjoyed decorating and going to antique auctions. He was a proud member of the Hibernian Society. He is survived by his brother, Doug Boissoneault, and his wife, Cyndi; loving girlfriend, Debbie Guerry Justice, Nieces, Michelle Cox and Danielle Boissoneault, Nephew, Doug Boissoneault, Jr., Grand Nephews Kaden Cox, Brayden Boissoneault and Talan Cox, Cousins, Bruce Burris, Sherry Dupree, Scott ,Wendy and Jack Reed. Memorial donations may be made to the Hibernian Society Building Fund, PO Box 134, Charleston, SC 29402, or to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
