Kenneth Grady Bayne

JOHNS ISLAND, SC - BAYNE, Kenneth Grady, age 78, widower of Dorothy Mae Black Bayne, passed away Monday evening, February 6, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Greelyville, SC, he was a son of the late George Grady and Ruby Ella Mixon Bayne. A United Methodist, Mr. Bayne was also a very proud Mason, Shriner, and member of the Scottish Rite. He had most recently attended the Stono Baptist Church on Johns Island. Mr. Bayne was a man of many professional skills and talents, and had worked hard in a variety of industries. A former firefighter, he was also a successful business owner and instilled his work ethic and character in his children. Kenneth G. Bayne is survived by his 4 daughters: Diane ("Debbie") and husband Sid Fowler of Goose Creek, SC, LaRae and husband Mike Hammer of Johns Island, SC, Tina Bayne-Green and husband Mike of Cottageville, SC, and Kennette and husband Kevin Holt of Gastonia, NC; his sister, Armilda Bayne-Chassereau; 9 grandchildren: Sidney Fowler, IV, Ashley Riley, Tami Power, Melissa Power, Cody Hammer, Kenneth Herring, Thomas Herring, Cristina Holt, Victoria Holt; and 15 great-grandchildren. ***Complete Funeral Arrangements are forthcoming***
