Kelly Nugent Salmorin

Kelly Nugent Salmorin, 52 of James Island, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 15, 2011. She was born in Charleston, SC on Tuesday, October 14, 1958, the daughter of Charles William Nugent Sr. and Janet O'Neale Nugent. Kelly was a customer service agent with James Island County Park and a member of the Church of the Nativity. She was a avid fan of the Carolina Gamecocks who always wore a smile. Kelly was a caring person who was always willing to help anyone in need. First and foremost in her life was her daughter Jennifer and her family, she always would put them above herself. Kelly loved spending her days out on Folly Beach. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Salmorin; her sister, Mary N. Foscolos and her husband John; her sister-in-law, Nancy P. Nugent; five nieces and nephews, Joel M. Nugent, David S. Nugent, Rachel D. Nugent, Holly Foscolos and Nikki Foscolos. She's also survived by her best friend, Donna Hickman. She is predeceased by both of her parents and her brother Charles W. Nugent, Jr. The relatives and friends of Kelly N. Salmorin are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Church of the Nativity on Folly Road, James Island. The Rite of Committal will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 19,2011 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy., Charleston. A Vigil Service will be held at 6:00 PM.
