Katherine Leona Burn, "Kitty", 82, of Ladson, wife of the late Francis W. Burn, passed away January 09, 2016.The relatives and friends of Mrs. Katherine L. Burn are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12:30 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2016, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.Katherine was a homemaker who raised 3 sons and 2 daughters. She was a loving mother and grandmother to everyone she touched. She loved being around her family and her special dog (Cody), who brought much joy to her life. She loved flowers and gardening, with making plants come to life. In her alone time she enjoyed watching Hallmark movies especially at Christmas. She was a caregiver to many who never complained. She is survived by her children; Charlie O' Toole (Chris), Steve O' Toole (Lynn), James Burn (Belinda), Brenda Burn Stewart (Donald) and Donna Burn, fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bubba Leonard Stallings, Russell E. Stallings. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Elise Blume, Charles Jack Stallings, Joe Warren Stallings, Johnnie Alvin Stallings, Josie Hicks and Carl Stallings.
