June Arlene Turek

June Arlene Turek, 77, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Desplaines, Illinois, wife of the late Richard A. Turek, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017.The relatives and friends of Mrs. June Arlene Turek are invited to her Celebration of Life from 12 Noon until 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Lone Tree Manor Banquet Hall, 7730 N. Milwaukee Ave. Niles, IL 60714. Burial will be at a later date. June was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 22, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Rose C. Solt. She was an avid reader and especially loved romance novels. June will always be remembered for her love of music, especially the accordion, her thoughtfulness, and her love for her dolls. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed more than words can say. June is survived by her children: Daniel Turek and his wife, Selda, Michael Turek and his wife, Cheryl, Andrew Turek and his wife, Diane, Paul Turek and his wife, Gina, Timothy Turek and his wife, Kit and Brian Turek; Grandchildren, Emily, Nathan, Heather, Bailey, Veronica, Max, Drew, Brianna and Benjamin and one great granddaughter, Akya. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Terranova and Nancy Liewehr and her husband William, her brother, Thomas Solt, her daughter in law, Shelly, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her husband, and her sister, Vivian Burt and her husband, Richard.
