Joshua Graham Murdock

Joshua Graham Murdock was born in Watertown, New York on April 12, 1979. He passed from this world on June 29, 2019, having recently celebrated his 40 birthday.

Josh worked as a self-employed house painter. He has been active for 20 years in the music community in Charleston, South Carolina, his home of 40 years. Josh played football and baseball at both Stall High and North Charleston High Schools. He is a graduate of Charleston Low Country Academy.

Josh is survived by his mother, Sandra Jane Eisenhart, and stepfather John Eisenhart, and his father Glyn Stewart Murdock and stepmother Carla Murdock. Josh's pride in life are his four children, daughters Shyla and Ahmara Richardson, son, Danyen Richardson, and daughter Annabelle Jane Murdock. Sharing the children's grief are his brother Doug Murdock and sister in law, Mandy Murdock and their children, along with stepbrother Michael Myers and his wife Christina and children. Dear to Josh's heart are the mothers of his children, Brandy Richardson and Michelle Craven who share this loss along with so many nieces and nephews, aunts and dearest friend Marva Denise Baker.

In lieu of flowers the family request anyone who may wish to do so make a donation to the charity of their own choosing. Josh had a special place in his heart for the homeless community of Charleston and North Charleston.

A memorial service will be held in Josh's honor at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Chruch, 6650 Dorchester Road in North Charleston on Monday, July 8, at 3:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.  Arrangements by JAMES A. MCALISTER, Inc. (843) 766-1365
