John Julius Reynolds, Jr.

John Julius Reynolds, Jr., entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 15, 2017. The relatives and friends of John Julius Reynolds, Jr. are invited to attend his Visitation between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday, June 19, 2017, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will be private. A son of the late John Julius Reynolds and Delia Smith Reynolds, John was born January 17, 1957, in Charleston, SC. He attended Cathedral School at St. John the Baptist and University of South Carolina. He was a long-time resident of Folly Beach. John was a member of the Teamsters Local 509 and enjoyed careers in the motion picture industry as well as owning and operating a parasailing business in Charleston. He was known to his friends and family as a story teller extraordinaire, lover of the ocean and a cooking enthusiast who enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit and zest for life. John is survived by his mother, Delia Reynolds of Charleston; brother, Eric Reynolds; sisters, Sarah Haig, Catherine Biasello, and Grace Fielding, as well as eight nieces and nephews.
