John Frank Hendricks, Jr.

John Frank Hendricks Jr., 50, of Charleston, SC passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on October 31, 2016. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Hendricks, Jr. are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 4, 2016, in the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends this Thursday evening between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home. John was born to the late John Frank Hendricks Sr. and Barbara Seabrook Hendricks on November 20, 1965, in Charleston. He grew up on James Island and graduated from Bishop England in 1984. He was the most loving father, husband, brother, and friend. Despite many health challenges over the past several years, he never gave up. His determination, selflessness, and love for his family will continue to inspire us for the years to come. He is survived by his wife, Susie Hickman Hendricks; his five children: Madison Hope Hendricks Coltharp (Glenn), Elizabeth Miriam Hendricks, Hunter Seabrook Hendricks (Shannon), John Frank Hendricks III and Jason Andrew Hendricks; his sister, Rhonda Hendricks Reeves (George), their two children, Jordan and Seth Reeves; his brother, Ronnie Hendricks (Sandy), all of Charleston, SC. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends, as well as his beloved dog, Jackson. A special thanks to the staff at Carolina Family Care, MUSC, Dr. Jonathon Halford, Dr. Harvey Demos, and Dr. Charles Strange for their care and support over the past few years.
