Charleston-- Entered into eternal rest on on Sunday, August 16, 2009, Mr. John Frank Hendricks, Sr. husband of Barbara Ann Seabrook Hendricks, of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Hendricks, Sr. are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. A Vigil Service will begin at 6:00 PM and the family will receive friends until 8:00 PM this Tuesday evening at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home 1620 Savannah Hwy. Mr. Hendricks was born in Charleston, SC on Saturday, January 25, 1936, a son of John A. and Viola Flood Hendricks. He graduated from Bishop England High School, attended the College of Charleston and honorably served our country in the United States Army. Mr. Hendricks was a Real Estate Broker and Developer. An intelligent, selfmade, successful man , a devoted husband of 52 years, an exceptional father, a loving and adoring gradfather, a kindhearted and generous man. Loved by many beyond words. He taught us determination, courage, hope and most of all what it means to truly love. We love you always and will miss you until we see you again. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann Seabrook Hendricks, two sons: Ronald Joseph Hendricks and his wife, Sandy, John F. Hendricks, Jr. and his wife, Susie; a daughter: Rhonda Hendricks Reeves; eight grandchildren: Cassandra, Seth, Hope, Elizabeth, Hunter, John, Jordan and Jason; a brother, Tony Hendricks and a sister, Jan H.
