John Allison

Dr. John Graham Allison MD., 71, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on Thursay, October 11, 2012. John was born in Pretoria, South Africa on October 11, 1941, a son of John H. and Alice Botha Allison. He served as Chief of Surgery at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Hospital, was instrumental in improving the operations of the hospital, and served our veterans for many years. John was also a member of the Charleston Country Club. He is survived by his son, Kevan Allison;daughters, Lara and Julie Allison; grandchildren Haley and Luke Jameson; brother Hugo Allison and his wife Trish, as well as a niece Claire Allison and nephew Andrew Allison.
