Joan Runey Croghan

Joan Runey Croghan, 85, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Joan was born on January 25, 1935 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of LeRoy Joseph Runey and Alma Branford Runey. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School. Joan enjoyed a 40 year career in the banking industry,
retiring from what is now Bank of America. She was a lifelong, devout Catholic and participated in the choir at both Sacred Heart and Blessed Sacrament. Joan always had fond memories of her involvement with the Tuna Fish Club and the Bank Girls.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel L. Croghan; her son, Daniel L. Croghan, Jr. (Meg); grandchildren, Daniel L. Croghan III and Lauren Croghan; her sister, Barbara R. Detyens and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid concerns, her Mass of Christian Burial and Rite of Committal will be private.
