Jennings B. Knight

Entered into eternal rest on September 4, 2012, Mr. Jennings Bryan Knight, husband of Betty Johnston Knight, of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jennings B. Knight are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM, Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the Graveside, Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. on Thursday morning between 10:0 and 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Mark United Methodist Church 413 Geddes Ave. Charleston, SC 29407 or Veterans Victory Group Memorial Fund 2461 Sidneys Road Walterboro, SC 29488. Mr. Knight was born in Summerville, SC on June 15, 1925, a son of Marvin and Mattie Patrick Knight. He graduated from Summerville High School and honorably served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Knight worked for over thirty years at the Cigar Factory and later at Western Auto in sales. He was an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Betty Johnston Knight; his son: Ronald J. Knight; his daughter: Gail K. Ferri and her husband, Paul and his grandchildren: Allison, Brian and Kelly Ferri.
