Charleston, SC - Mrs. Jennie R. Kelly Mrs. Jennie Rae Hatchell Kelly, 80, widow of Rutledge M. Kelly, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2015. The relatives and friends of Jennie R. Kelly are invited to attend her Funeral Service 1:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2015, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens on Hwy. 61. The family will greet friends from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home. A native of Darlington County, SC, Jennie was a daughter of the late Glenn Carl and Eva Powers Hatchell. She served as an Accounting Technician in the Bursar's Office of the Medical University of South Carolina, and retired after many years of faithful service. Jennie was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Charleston, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Billy R. Kelly and his wife Liz of Charleston, 2 sisters, Dorothy H. Gardner of Bishopville, SC and Gloria H. Campbell of Oates, SC, her brother, G.C. Hatchell of Timmonsville, SC, and 2 grandchildren, Bailey and Billy, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Marion (Butch) Kelly, and her brother Dan Hatchell. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Jennie's memory may be made to the Coastal Center, 9995 Jamison Rd, Ladson, SC 29456.
