Jenifer Lynne Romanosky died unexpectedly in her home on Johns Island Sunday, October 17, 2021, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her home on Johns Island.
Lynne was born July 7, 1956, to John and Nell Romanosky in Charleston. She grew up in the family home at 548 Huger Street. Upon graduation from First Baptist High School, she attended the College of Charleston and then began her career in medical records at Roper Hospital. Lynne was known for her quick wit and dry sense of humor which she often attributed to her father. While in good health, she enjoyed tennis and swimming. In later years, as her health declined, she enjoyed sharing time at home with longtime friends and family.
As she departed this life on her journey home, she was surrounded by her longtime caregivers, Ebonique Priester, Tashanique Priester, Unique White, Rose Richardson and Lou Edna Frazier.
Lynne is survived by her sister, Lisa Camille Romanosky; her brother, John E. Romanosky, Jr. (Sheila); nieces, Anna Kathryn Romanosky, Caroline Romanosky McGee (Jason), Claire Glover Edwards (Jim) and Suzannah Glover Countryman (Andrew).
The family requests that any memorials be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Post Office Box 91891, Washington, DC, 20090 (www.nationalmssociety.org/donate).
