Jane Vogt Groh, 82, of Charleston, died on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The relatives and friends of Jane V. Groh are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM Friday, February 21, 2014 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1853 Maybank Highway on James Island. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be private. Jane was born on July 13, 1931 in Kingston, PA, a daughter of George and Laura Vogt. She was a retired nurse anesthetist, who enjoyed cooking, reading and going to the beach. She also enjoyed traveling and participating in activities with her friends. Jane is survived by her sister, Harriett V. Weaver of Harrisburg, PA, sons, Charles L. Lockhart (Marla) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and George R. Lockhart of TN. She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, Chera Nicole Pitsenbarger (Jared) and Joshua Andrew Lockhart, both of Eden, NC. Jane also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and a special cousin of whom she was very fond, Jackie J. Benner (Bruce) of Ellicott City, MD.
