Bobby, beloved husband of Barbara Jean, went to live with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He is now healed and whole in mind and body after suffering many years from Frontotemporal Dementia.
He was born in Manning, SC on June 6, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Thomas and Corinne Phillips Bradham; his brother Joe Bradham; his sister Catherine Bradham Eaddy; and his son-in-love John Holland Morse. He is survived by the love of his life, his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Barbara Jean Reardon Bradham. He is survived by his daughter Katherine Bradham Morse of Culpeper, VA and his son Robert Perry Bradham and daughter-in-love Wendy Ackerman Bradham of Charleston, SC. He has nine grandchildren–Jackson, Cooper, Sullivan, Hampton, Walker, and Caroline Morse and James, Katherine, and Benjamin Bradham. He is also survived by his sister Phyllis Bradham Causey (Lindsey) of Conway, SC; sisters-in-law Judy Wilson (Stan), and Diane Champion (Jeff), and brother-in-law David Richburg (Linda).
Bobby graduated from Manning High School, Wofford College, University of Virginia, and MUSC College of Pharmacy. He enjoyed a storied career ranging from middle school teacher/principal to his final career passion of local pharmacist. That range of experience gave him a unique servant-leader approachability that endeared him to all who knew him and allowed him to serve well in various leadership positions in the local and state community. While all of his endeavors reflected humble service, his greatest joy and service was to his beloved Fort Johnson Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday May 31, 11:30 AM-12:45 PM at Fort Johnson Baptist Church, 1473 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Marty Middleton and Pastor Jackson Morse officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Fort Johnson Baptist Church, FORWARD FROM THE FIRE FUND, 1473 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
Bobby’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all of the staff and caregivers of Bishop Gadsden. They cared for and loved Bobby well.
