Irma Lee Meyers Harper

Irma was born March 27, 1927, and was a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She was raised by her mother Azalea Meyers after her father John C. Meyers, a Charleston Policeman, was killed in the line of duty.

Irma was a long-time member of Church of the Good Shepherd. Her career started with Wyeth Lab in Atlanta, Ga, before transitioning through various acquisitions to Pfizer, Inc. She retired from Pfizer and returned to her native Charleston.

Irma is survived by her stepdaughter, Jacqueline M. Harper of Tucker, GA and by her beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, June 3, 2022, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
