Irene J. Brown

Our beloved, Irene Jones Brown, born July 3, 1943, calmly and peacefully left us on August 29, 2024.

Irene leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Terrance James Brown; daughters, Cindy Stevens and Tracy Hall; sister, Virginia Kania; grandchildren, Chad, Alyssa and Kyler, as well as her great-grandchildren, Thomas and Nathaniel.

Irene's laughter, bright eyes and sometimes cute, but stubborn ways will never be forgotten by the many who loved her. She turned her natural talent and hobby into a career. She loved art so much she went back to school for her undergraduate and graduate degrees in her 40s. Irene’s passion for art also led her to teaching high school students for 11 years. She will be greatly missed by her family.
