Ignacio Puertollano Marquez, Jr.

Mr. Ignacio Puertollano Marquez Jr., 80, widower of Shirley Marquez, entered into eternal rest September 26, 2018. The relatives and friends of Mr. I.P. Marquez are invited to attend his Liturgy of the Word 9:30 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. I.P. Marquez was born July 31, 1938, coming from a large family in the Philippines Islands. He was known for helping his fellow man, local agencies and his community in any way that he could. He served honorably in the US Navy for 24 years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Helen Moore and Debbie Wilson, his son Jun Marquez, and his stepson Calvin Blackwood.
