Hwa Sook Baek

Hwa Sook Baek, widow of Ye Sop Back, died in Charleston, SC on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She was born in Seoul, Korea on Tuesday, November 2, 1926. Hwa Sook Baek was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We are all very sad to say good bye, but happy for the wonderful memories we have of her holding her great grandchildren and chasing them around the yard. The delicious foods she made for us still linger in our thoughts Hwa Sook Baek left a legacy of selfless love which transcended any language barrier. Her smile of innocense melted even the hardest of hearts and made us all realize that God is Love and Love conquers all. We will always remember and continue the lessons Hwa Sook Baek taught us while she was here on earth. We love you! The relatives and friends of Hwa Sook Back are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 29, 2010 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, Saturday, November 27, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M..
