Howell Wilber Stone, Jr.

Howell W. Stone, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at his residence. Funeral Services and Burial will be private. Mr. Stone, known to his friends as "Bubba" was born in Charleston on July 3, 1943, a son of Howell W. and Emma Elizabeth Gunnells Stone. He attended Cathedral Catholic School and graduated Charleston High School. Bubba honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a long haul truck driver for the George Rheaman Company for many years. Bubba enjoyed to travel and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister, Diane Stone Goolsby and her husband, Bev; a niece, Michelle Goolsby and a nephew, Robin P. Goolsby as well as four grand nieces, one grandnephew and an Aunt, Alice G. Carillo.
