Hallie Wilder Zeigler

Hallie Delores Wilder Zeigler, 72, of Ravenel, the wife of Roland Marion Zeigler, a retired Office Manager with Ashland Auto Parts, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2010. She was born in Andrews, SC, a daughter of William James Wilder and Olna Ogburn Wilder on Friday, April 22, 1938. Mrs. Zeigler was a graduate of Andrews High School, where she was a star basketball player and was a member of Carolina Bay Baptist Church. She was a member of the Carolina Bay Sunday School Class and was known as an outgoing person who loved to fish. Nothing meant more to Mrs. Zeigler than her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook and made award winning Apple Dumplings. Mrs. Zeigler was also the first person in her family to learn to water ski, amazingly though being she didn't even know how to swim. Prissy, her faithful dog always put a sparkle in her eye. Mrs. Zeigler is survived by her husband, Roland M. Zeigler; three children, Roland Zeigler and his wife Terri, Richard Zeigler and his wife Debbie and Robin Gaster; six grandchildren, Trey Zeigler, Ricky Zeigler, Robbie Gaster, Reva Gellardo and her husband Moise, Chris Jones and Bubba Zeigler; three great grandchildren, Chloe Jones, Hailey Zeigler and Madison Jones; four siblings, Hazel Duncan, Helen Scott, Hilbrand Wilder and Herbert Wilder; a sister-in-law, Jane Phifer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The relatives and friends of Hallie W. Zeigler are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Charleston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Carolina Bay Baptist Church, 2927 Savannah Hwy. Charleston.
