Gregory Alexander Zaremba, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina passed surrounded by family and Allen Silver on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Riverside Health and Rehab Center. The relatives and friends of Gregory Alexander Zaremba are invited to attend his Memorial Service 6:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the James A. McAlister Chapel, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, November 16, 1954, to Alexander and Mary Grace Zaremba, Gregory was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers Local 687. He was a benefactor of the Wounded Warrior Project, the Salvation Army, and various other organizations that he strongly supported up until his last few months and a follower of Taoism. Gregory enjoyed riding motorcycles and reading history books. He was also a passionate member of A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments. Gregory is survived by his sister, Maryhelen, his brother in law, Dean, his nieces, Pheraby and Caroline, his aunts, Anna Pearl and Lessy, many cousins, and life-long friends.
