Gregory Lee Walker

Gregory Lee Walker, 32, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 8th, 2023. Family and friends of Gregory are invited to attend a Visitation between 1:00 & 3:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2023 at James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway, Charleston.

Gregory will be missed every day by his son Bodhi R. Walker, his parents Jonathan L. and Patricia Walker, twin brother Jonathan D. Walker, his grandmother Elizabeth Katko, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.

He was born in Charleston, SC on October 9, 1990. He loved making people laugh, playing drums (especially metal), video games, skateboarding, fishing, art, and creative writing. He enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons and strategy board games Axis and Allies and Civilization. He was an avid history buff and enjoyed philosophical discussions about many topics. As a child, he was a member of the Boy Scouts and earned many merit badges. He treasured his time camping with his cousin Joe and Uncle Larry, and as an adult with his brother and cousin Tyler. He enjoyed working with the horses on his grandmother Shirley's farm and spending time with Opa Karl and all the Florida family. He shared a mutual interest in foreign languages and cultures with his brother.

Growing up in a military family, he also lived in Satellite Beach, FL and Silverdale, WA, and made many friends in both places.

As a member of the Belfair, WA band Likely Suspects, he toured the U.S. west coast. He was also a member of Bremerton, WA band The Plague and played many shows in the Bremerton/Seattle area, and was involved in several other music projects.

Above all, he loved his son Bodhi.
