Glenn P. Dyches, Sr. 78, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
The relatives and friends of Glenn P. Dyches, Sr. are invited to attend his Graveside Funeral 12:00PM, Saturday January 30, 2021, at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Glenn was born November 10, 1942, in Baldock, South Carolina, a son of the late Wilbur Lee Dyches and Ruth Dorothy Williams Dyches.
Glenn served in the U.S. Air Force as an Airman First Class and fought in the Vietnam War. He attended the College of Charleston, dedicated a lifelong career working in Civil Service for the U.S. Government and retired in Pensacola, FL as the Superintendent of Transportation.
During his retirement years he spent countless hours as a Commercial Captain, fishing in the Gulf and traveling.
Glenn was predeceased by his loving wife, Marialourd F. Dyches; his brother Johnny Dyches and his parents.
He is survived by his three children: Pamela L. Dyches of Charleston, SC, Glenn P Dyches, Jr. (Kelly) of Goose Creek, SC and Cynthia A. Linhart (Corey) of Charleston, SC; his first wife Margie A. Dyches; Eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; his brother; Jimmy Dyches (Judy Morris); many nieces and nephews and his faithful companion, Rocky.
