Gerald Joseph Quinn

Gerald "Jerry" Quin, 81, husband of Elizabeth Ann Knisley Quinn, died peacefully surrounded by his family on the evening of December 6, 2017. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Quinn are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Church of Nativity. The Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, Sunday afternoon, at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Jerry served in the Marine Corp. and he retired from Westvaco after 42 years of service. He was an active member of the Church of the Nativity.He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Ann; four daughters: Kelly Williamson (Randy), Shannon Holly (Tim), Jeannie Moore (John), Kathleen Greenhill (Randy); eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Rd., Charleston, SC 29412.
